Big Cascade.
There is no similar unique construction any more anywhere in the former Soviet Union. It is at first sight difficult to define its genre accessory: it is not a monument and not the building. Let's tell simply, the Cascade is a peculiar decoration of the city in the form of original architectural composition

Opera and ballet theater - one of outstanding sights of the country. Located in the heart of Yerevan, it was designed by the architect Alexander Tamanyan who in an unusual manner connected two auditoriums in the uniform semicircular building.

Erebuni's fortress is on Arin Byrd's hill. It was constructed in 782 g BC by the urartsky tsar Argishti I. Excavation of fortress began in 19 century and assumed wider scale in the 1950th g. During one of this excavation the cuneiform writing of the tsar Argishti about the basis of this fortress was found. The objects found during excavation are exposed in the museum constructed at the bottom of the hill.

Matenadaran on drevnearmyansky means "book-depository". There is it in northern part of Mashtots Avenue. It is research institute of Mesrop Mashtots where ancient manuscripts and manuscripts are stored and restored. In the matenadarena more than 15 000 manuscripts and fragments and this meeting constantly are stored and investigated is replenished with new finds, acquisitions and gifts.

Victory park is in Kanaker-Zeytun's region and is one of favourite places of walks of erevanets. Exactly there is a monument bearing the name "Mother Armenia", representing eternal readiness to protect the people. In a monument there is a military museum of the Ministry of Defence of RA. And near a monument - a grave of "the unknown soldier" as a symbol of gratitude fallen during fight against fascism.

On the high hill of park Tsitsernakaberd will erect a monument to the victims of genocide of Armenians in 1915. This monumental composition immortalizes memory of the innocent victims of the genocide of Armenians, most cruel in world history. Every year, on April 24, thousands of Armenians from Armenia, diasporas, and also foreign guests are going to pay a respect tribute to the victims which fell during genocide in this park.
