Apricot – one of unsurpassed gifts of the nature with which the earth of Armenia is so rich. The Latin name of an apricot – Prunus Armeniaca as its homeland is Armenia from where it also got to Europe. Fruits of an apricot are rich with natural sugars, acids, B1, B2, PP, C vitamins, contain pectin, and also significant amounts of pro-vitamin A (beta carotene) which defines color of fruits. Existence of a large amount of iron and potassium determines the medical value of apricots at anemia, diseases of cardiovascular system which are followed by their deficiency. Fruits of an apricot apply to digestion improvement, as soft depletive, and also at arrhythmia of heart and diseases of a liver.
